Many other garden flag companies champion their two-sided flags, just so lettering reads correctly on front and back. While this is an interesting feature, it comes at a cost – the beauty and brightness of the flag's color is compromised. Two-sided text requires fabric with a “blackout” layer between the front and back of the flag, dulling colors and blocking light.
